Wide knowledge of LV switchgear tendering principles together with knowledge of circuit protection and power distribution products.

Able to appraise customer documentation received by e-mail, post & fax including technical specifications covering electrical systems that are installed in complex buildings.

Knowledge of Power Quality products i.e. PFC and TVSS.Knowledge of factory built assemblies (FBAs) including the use of NWML/Ofgem and non-NWML/Ofgem approved meters for compliance with Building Regulations – Parts L2A and L2B.

Electrical repairs Supervisor - Rotherham

· Planned the self-move project of the repair workshop and co-ordinated all activities for the transfer into the new premises, resolving/solving problems that arose.

· Established the repair workshop in the new premises and was responsible for setting up the building to EH&S standards and ensuring compliance with current legislation.

· Developed and implemented the processes and procedures in gaining and subsequently improving on the current BSI certification.

· Created a focused ‘proactive repair’ program and increased the “first time fix-rate” by analysing/ investigating parts usage and organising the technical stores to reduce turnaround time from over 4 weeks down to less than 5 days

· Recruited, developed, supervised and trained a team of eight technicians.

· Monitored, recorded and reported on business critical Key Performance Indicators for monthly reviews.

· Very adept at implementing plans, organising resources and then monitoring progress through to completion.
