UPS Project Engineer - Electrical

Our client is market leader in the static inverter, central battery units and UPS sector. They are currently looking to recruit a Service technician (electrical bias) to join their existing team based in Sheffield.
Job Title
You will be employed as a UPS Project Engineer working from their Sheffield office. The position is full time and permanent and you will be a senior member of the team.
Description
The majority of the work would involve dealing with day to day management of the service teams. You would be responsible for –
- Organising and scheduling engineers
- Project Programming.
- Liaising with subcontractors
- Liaising with the client on the service or installation
- Dealing with service calls.
- Dealing with technical calls from clients who have a system problem.
- Arranging service schedules and installation of equipment.
- Liaising with Engineering Dept
- Liaising with Commissioning Dept for System Commissioning.
- Project Handover.
- Dealing with technical calls from clients and engineers.
- Site visits as required.
Skills
Time served engineer, HNC electrical/electronic engineering, City & Guilds
Competent at reading schematic diagrams.
Working knowledge and understanding of inverters, battery units and UPS systems or similar equipment.
Experience in a similar service manager role.
Area
Ideally based within easy commutable distance to Sheffield.
Package
Salary would be between £26,000 + with some flexibility, given experience and skills base.
Your holiday entitlement is 28 days per year, some of which must be taken on pre-defined dates (eg. Bank Holidays).
After 24 months the Company will make up your salary for 8 weeks in any rolling 12 month period under the Company sick pay scheme.
